Application opens: September 5, 2023. Last day to apply to graduate and be included in the Spring Commencement ceremony: March 29, 2024.

Appalachian State University will recognize spring 2024 graduates during commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11.

It’s five days before the first graduation ceremony, and students rush across the court in Holmes Convocation Center, placing down carpeted panels on the hardwood floor to protect it from scratches during the event. Doors will open at 4:30pm. Ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. The Holmes Center has a Clear Bag Policy in place for all events.
