This wikiHow teaches you how to get started with GroupMe when you're using a computer. GroupMe offers a web-based app for both Windows and macOS users, which features nearly all of the same features available in the mobile app. If you're using Windows, you also have the option of installing the Windows desktop app, which allows you to sync contacts from your PC to GroupMe.

Things You Should Know

  • You can download the GroupMe app for Windows from GroupMe.com.
  • While there is no GroupMe app for macOS, you can log into GroupMe in a web browser on any platform.
  • GroupMe allows you to send messages, photos, and documents to both individuals and groups.
